Another family has successfully overcome homelessness!
April 10, 2025

A family of five had been living in their car. After joining Bridge of Hope and securing housing, the mother was hospitalized around the time of the move due to health issues from sleeping in the car. Despite this, their Neighboring Volunteers rallied together to ensure the move could still take place.
Since the family did not have much furniture at the time, their Neighboring church used a monetary donation towards bunk beds for the kids. The volunteers also worked on finding other furniture for the home.
While in Bridge of Hope, the family had multiple vehicle issues, but they were able to buy a new car that is more reliable. They have achieved employment and financial stability, paid off debt, and built savings. As a result of the newfound stability, the kids are doing well in school and the whole family is thriving!
