Please help us welcome Bridge of Hope Lancaster’s new Church Engagement and Housing Director, Caleb Simmers.

April 5, 2022

Caleb comes to Bridge of Hope Lancaster with a strong background in church ministry, primarily working with youth and families. Within that role, he has also coordinated collaborative efforts among various churches to meet community needs. Caleb has a bachelor’s degree in Youth and Family Ministry from Champion Christian College and has served as Family and Student Pastor at Oaklawn Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. You can read more about Caleb here.

As the Church Engagement and Housing Director, Caleb will be building relationships with local churches to encourage Neighboring to end family homelessness. Caleb will also be connecting with local landlords, housing stakeholders and community partners to promote housing for Bridge of Hope families. Caleb is excited to begin speaking with church leaders in Lancaster County and believes that “Bridge Hope provides the model for churches to be the answer to [solving family homelessness] in their own neighborhood.”

Please help us welcome Caleb! You can reach him at calebs@bridgeofhopeinc.org or (717) 207-8932.  Caleb would love to help your congregation learn more about Neighboring to end family homelessness.
