Maximize Your Charitable Giving

Did you know that Individual Retirement Arrangement (IRA) owners age 70½ or over can transfer up to $100,000 to charity tax-free each year?

These transfers, known as Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), offer a great way for individuals to easily give to charities, like Bridge of Hope, before the end of the year. And, for those who are at least 73 years old, QCDs count toward the IRA owner’s Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for the year.

You can direct the entire RMD, or a portion of it, to be transferred to a qualified charity, such as Bridge of Hope, and it will count toward meeting your RMD for that tax year.
